My name is Carlos Cidrais.

I am currently working as a freelance Lighting TD at Double Negative.

I'm also a featured artist at Escape Studios. 

I have worked at several visual effects and animation studios such as MPC, Framestore, Partizan, Escape Studios, Th1ng, Golden Square, Therapy Films and Smoke and Mirrors, among others on commercials for Mastercard, Airwick, Intel and Land Rover as well as the FA Cup and Ashes title sequences, to name a few. I also worked as a Lighting Technical Director on the "Clash of the Titans" remake at Framestore and on the David Attenborough documentary "First Life".

My digital tool box is comprised of Maya, Renderman, Mental Ray, Nuke, Photoshop, After Effects, Mudbox, Zbrush and PF Track. I am also able to do MEL scripting to speed up my workflow and resolve production issues.
